0. What is the FZAOEU list?
It is an email group where members can post questions. One of the good things about
such groups on the internet is that, regardless of where you are in the world and whatever
time of day it is, there will usually be someone who can answer your question quite quickly.
1. Do I have to join the FZAOEU list?
No, you don't have to join. The list is, however, one of the best ways in which
we can keep in touch. You can, if you prefer, simply get in touch with one of the
staff at FZAOEU and decide about joining the list later. Go
here to find out the email addresses.
2. How do I receive messages from the list?
When you join you can choose to receive individual emails as they are posted to the
list, or to receive one larger email in what is called digest form, or to receive no emails
at all. In this last case you will need to go on-line
here
once you have joined to view the messages.
3. Can I send messages to the list on-line?
Yes. You can view messages on-line, and you can also send a message to the
list by email (once you've joined of course). This is the email address:
fzeu@yahoogroups.com
4. How can I unsubscribe from the list?
To do this, send an email message to
fzeu-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
5. Do you have any tips for managing being a member of several lists?
If you do join a number of lists, you may find that you get more mail than you can
easily handle. There are a number of ways to stay on top of the situation. You can elect
to go on-line to read the messages. In this way you can keep your inbox relatively
uncluttered. Alternatively, with some email programs, you can set up sub folders within
your inbox and create rules to divert mail messages from a given group to its own folder.
This helps as you only have a limited amount in each folder to cope with and all the mail
there will be related. Finally, if you like being a member of a given group, but don't
like the mail that particular individuals post, you can always set your mail program to
delete messages from those particular persons.
6. What is the difference between this list and the one advertised
on http://www.fzaoint.net?
This list is for people in the European area. That is from Ireland and
Portugal in the west, over to Russia in the east. People from outside that
area are welcome to join if they are interested in working with us or wish
to obtain services from us. The international list is for everyone else.
